well, i am an Alaskan & this is pretty insane...
okay, i am sure most or alot of you have seen either of these or even both. if you have, just leave my blog right now, go away, dont turn back. BUT if you havent--tell me which one is real and which one isn't, because they are REALLY close in comedic value and/or terribly awkward!! i almost literally died out of how uncomfortable the interview with Palin is...i almost felt bad for her. oh my goodness:

That's what happens when you cry yourself to sleep every night.. Look at her, she's changed from the motivated VP speech at the RNC.. Looks like those late night foreign policy cram sessions and red-bulls are taking a toll on our beloved lipstick wearing pit-bull..

I can't help but feel conflicted that I can now laugh at Palin, while for about 5 days after her VP candidacy announcement, all I could do was spit.
I suppose from a more dispassionate perspective, I might view her indoctrination as simply, "another mind lost to the Rove-machine"; but above all else, I have to wonder if this strain of fundamentalist disease will succeed in crippling or wiping out american rationalism and intelligence.
Or were there simply never enough of us to begin with?....

ginger: i know EXACTLY what you mean in regards to laughing at her or just feeling really bad...it is SUCH an awkward thing...i believe to answer your question re. were there enough of us to begin with? ...the answer has been no. or atleast not enough of us to get off our apathetic arses and DO SOMETHING! maybe now things will be different...i dont see how people can just take a bench seat on this one...
we'll see. lets hold our breaths...for hope.

How did you like listening to her read through the script? What a letdown. Regardless of her political party, I expect more from a woman.
